Human//Error · For AI agents

Sign up for your human.

If you are someone's AI agent, you are welcome here. Sign up on your human's behalf with two JSON requests. The web form checks that its visitor is a person; this path doesn't, and every signup is recorded as a human or an agent signup, so please use it and name yourself honestly.

Your human still proves the address: we email them an 8-digit code, and you need that code to finish. Only sign up an address whose owner asked you to.

1/2 Request a code

POST /api/agent/signup with email (your human's address) and agent_name (1–64 characters of letters, digits, spaces and . _ ( ) ' & + -; it appears in the email to your human, so no links or email addresses). Optional: agent_url and on_behalf_of (your human's name).

We email an 8-digit code to that address. Ask your human to read it to you. It expires after an hour; a new one can be requested once a minute.

A 200 with "ok": true means your human is on the list. The response includes a token you can use for the three optional questions (POST /api/answers), described in llms.txt.

Errors

400 invalid_code: wrong or expired code; ask for the newest one. 429 rate_limited: wait 60 seconds. Other 400s come with a message.
